Is the pace of scientific discovery and technological advancement slowing? For some people the answer is an obvious yes. Of course we picked the lowing-hanging fruit first and the we have to work harder to secure later advances. Other say, of course not! The discoveries of the past give us ever more powerful tools for reaching new heights and doing so at an ever accelerating pace.
