The Pace of Nature

The final interview that KMO and Olga recorded on their recent Vermont road trip was with Mark Morey at the Institute for Natural Learning. Mark had a copy of the book Original Instructions: Indigenous Teachings for a Sustainable Future on the desk in front of him as he spoke, and his comments come around time and again to living a "nature-based" existence, by which he means being aware of the other species with whom we share this planet as well as the dynamic forces that shape our environment. He warns against demonizing corporations. Corporations form a large part of our present economic environment, and living a reality-based life means taking them into account as we would any other element of our reality.
